## General

**What is Novamp?** A multi-chain launchpad and trading terminal. On EVM chains, tokens launch **directly onto a real Uniswap / PancakeSwap / HyperSwap pool** and trade from block 0. On Solana, launches run through Pump.fun. See [How Novamp Works](/protocol/how-novamp-works.md).

**Which chains are supported?** `🟢 Robinhood Chain (4663)`, `🔵 Base (8453)`, `🟡 BNB Chain (56)`, `⚪ Ethereum (1)`, `🟣 HyperEVM (999)`, and `🟪 Solana`. See [Supported Chains](/welcome-to-novamp/supported-chains.md).

**Is there a bonding curve?** Not on the direct-pool EVM chains — those launches have no curve and no graduation. Bonding curves apply only to **Solana** and **legacy HyperEVM markets** that launched before Path B (2026-07-21). See [Bonding & Graduation](/protocol/bonding-and-graduation.md).

**Does Novamp hold my funds?** No. It's non-custodial software — you sign every transaction from your own wallet. See the [Terms of Service](/legal-and-safety/terms-of-service.md).

## For creators

**How do I launch a token?** Fill the launch wizard and sign one transaction to `NovampLaunchFactory.launch(p)`. See [Launch a Token](/creators/launching-a-token.md).

**What does it cost to launch?** Gas, plus any opening liquidity (v2 tax tokens) and an optional initial buy. See the [Fee Model](/protocol/fee-model.md).

**Can I add a buy/sell tax?** Yes, 0–10% on **tax tokens** (Base, BNB, Ethereum) — set at launch and **lowerable-only**. `🟢 Robinhood Chain` and `🟣 HyperEVM` are v3-only, so tokens launched there are zero-fee. See [Token Taxes](/creators/taxes.md).

**Can I mint more supply later?** No. Supply is fixed at launch — there is **no mint function and no owner**. See the [Security Model](/protocol/security-model.md).

**What happens to liquidity?** You choose **burn or lock** at launch, and that choice is permanent. See [Liquidity & Pools](/creators/liquidity-and-pools.md).

**Do I keep earning after launch?** Yes — creators earn **half of the 1% swap fee** on every trade, for as long as the token trades. See the [Fee Model](/protocol/fee-model.md).

## For traders

**How do I trade a token?** Open its token page and use quick buy/sell or swap. See [Trading Overview](/traders/overview.md).

**What fees do I pay when trading?** On EVM (including HyperEVM), a flat **1%** Novamp swap fee, plus any creator token tax (0–10% on tax tokens), plus DEX price impact and gas. On Solana, a **0.3%** pool fee. See the [Fee Model](/protocol/fee-model.md).

**Why did my trade move the price so much?** That's **price impact** on a thin pool. Lower your size or check liquidity first. See [Slippage & Price Impact](/traders/slippage-and-price-impact.md).

**How do I know a token is genuine?** Trace it to the official `NovampLaunchFactory` and check it's verified on the explorer. See [Contract Verification](/protocol/contract-verification.md) and [Token & Trading Risks](/legal-and-safety/token-trading-risks.md).

## AntiVamp

**What does AntiVamp protect?** A token's normalized **Name + Ticker** identity across chains and launchpads — **not** its price, team, or legitimacy. See [What Is AntiVamp?](/identity-protection/what-is-antivamp.md).

**How much does a reservation cost?** Flat, non-refundable USD tiers: **$100 / 24h**, **$250 / 3d**, **$500 / 7d**, **$1,500 / 30d**. See [Reserving a Name & Ticker](/identity-protection/reserving-a-name-and-ticker.md).

**Are copycat locks permanent?** No — they're **time-limited** (e.g. 60d/48h on bond/graduation; 90d/7d at \~$1M market cap). Only a manual **guardian block** is permanent, and it's guardian-reversible. See [Post-Launch Protection](/identity-protection/post-launch-protection.md).

**Does a Protected badge mean a token is safe?** No. It confirms an identity is checked/protected — not that the token is safe or a good investment. See the [Risk Disclosure](/legal-and-safety/risk-disclosure.md).

## Developers

**Is there a public API?** Yes — a public data API per chain. See [Public Data API](/developers/public-api.md) and [Developer Overview](/developers/overview.md).

**Where are the contract addresses?** All live, verified addresses per chain are on [Contract Addresses](/protocol/contracts-and-addresses.md).

**Are the contracts upgradeable?** No — every contract is non-upgradeable. The owner is a per-chain Safe multisig limited to configuration. See [Contract Architecture](/protocol/contract-architecture.md).

## Fees

**What's the EVM swap fee?** Flat **1%**, split **50% creator / 50% protocol**, collected by the `FeeRouter`.

**What's the Solana fee?** **0.3%** pool fee, split **60% creator / 40% Novamp** via Pump.fun's fee-share.

**Is launching free?** Launching itself carries no Novamp creation fee beyond gas (and any optional initial buy / v2 opening liquidity). Full breakdown in the [Fee Model](/protocol/fee-model.md).

## Chains

**Which chains support tax tokens?** `🔵 Base`, `🟡 BNB Chain`, and `⚪ Ethereum` (v2). `🟢 Robinhood Chain` and `🟣 HyperEVM` are v3-only (zero-fee tokens only).

**What about HyperEVM?** HyperEVM's direct-pool launchpad — **Path B** — went **live 2026-07-21**. New launches seed directly onto a **HyperSwap v3** pool, not SherSwap. Markets that launched before Path B still trade on the legacy **SherSwap** bonding-curve stack, but it's no longer used for new launches. See [HyperEVM](/getting-started/chain-guides/hyperevm.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://docs.novamp.io/resources/faq.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
